Christmas is Coming


Christmas is almost coming and every Christmas I have a favourite dessert that I always made and most of us this is our dessert because it is very easy to make this and very practical unlike on the other dessert. This dessert called Graham with mango dessert .

Every Christmas my family always tells me to make a graham with mango  even if not Christmas or no occasion at all if i saw a all-purpose cream swear I'm gonna make a graham because i made it perfectly and that's why my family loves me so much. And i promise it's not too sweet and creamy it's average, and when you taste the one that i made you will forgotten your name and when you eat another graham you will say to your self that Iah's graham is the best than the other and if you wouldn't i will kill myself,no I'm just kidding . I just want you to give a tip about this menu , you can use other ingredients like strawberry or apple than mango any fruits that you want. If you want four season then go it base on your taste bud and what you want, and it's a perfect dessert because you have effort to eat it there's a biscuit in it right? so you gonna grind it with your teeth .

Macapuno


There is a variety of the coconut known as macapuno, and it has more flesh than the regular coconut. For some, they use the young coconut to make into macapuno.

To produce the macapuno, the soft kernel of a young coconut is first grated into strips. It is then mixed with white sugar and a small amount of water. The concoction is allowed to simmer in a pan until it turns into syrup and tasted for quality. When sufficiently cooled, it is then bottled into a delicious, and syrupy sweet-tasting macapuno.

The macapuno is a mutant of the coconut. The Philippine Coconut Authority has developed macapuno trees that yield 80 per cent macapuno fruits. The trees grow in abundance in Albay where the Authority's research center is.

The macapuno fruit looks like the regular niyog except that it is bigger. Farmers have a way of knocking on the nut to determine if they have macapuno or niyog. The macapuno meat is as thick as the niyog but softer, making it easy to grate. Macapuno is cooked with sugar, sometimes with dayap for flavor, and served as a dessert. Local ice cream makers also have macapuno flavors.

For me macapuno is very common here in Philippines because it’s good for side dish like when your food is very salty you can put a little bit of macapuno on the side of you plate. You can’t eat macapuno alone or without partner because it is very sweet unlike on the other desserts like cake, icecream or gelatins because of the overwhelm of the sweetness of macapuno you can lose your appetite and be umay on it . But macapuno is good in ice cream or in bread you can use it as a filling .


Leche Flan


Leche Flan is a creamy custard with caramelized sugar top.
Filipino leche flan recipe uses both evaporated and condensed canned milks aside from the usual ingredient of eggs, sugar and vanilla

The dessert Flan, also known as Caramel Creme, is of Spanish origin.
It is quite popular in South and Central America and done just like our Flan.
Traditionally, a llanera, which is an oval shaped aluminum tin pan is used.
The custard is flavored with vanilla extract or lime/lemon zest, then cooked in a steamer on the stove top or in a bain-marie inside the oven.
Caramelized sugar or arnibal is first made at the bottom of the pan before pouring in the custard mixture.
This process gives the custard the caramelized top because it is flipped like an upside down cake when served.
Leche flan is a favourite and popular dessert in the Philippines. It is similar to a cream caramel. It is sweet and rich. Leche flan is a must during Christmas, New Year and fiestas.
This dessert is very popular to Filipinos and i made it this dessert by myself when I was in grade three and I'm 11 or 10 years old that time , and after I made it the taste of the Leche flan is not quite bad as for 10 years old child . It’s no secret that I am a dessert fanatic specially with the touch of strawberry as my third post its the perfect dessert for summer, and my mom baked a cake about a year ago and it was good of all desserts for me I think that’s why i’m addictive to sweets too , and as i knew  many people loves desserts  and addictive to it also as mine. 
Fanatic of dessert specially with the touch of strawberry is no other but me , and  the perfect dessert cake for me is baked by my mom . And that’s why i’m addictive to sweets too . And many people loves desserts and addictive to it as we all known ...

“Don’t Let Summer End Without Making Strawberry Shortcake”



As a teenager I love sweets specially the strawberry because it really catch up my taste bud the sweetness and the little bitterness in it is perfect for me. Many people think that sweet foods is for just kids and I disagree with that because for me sweets is for everybody no matter if your young, old, fat, sexy or incomplete teeth as long as you are human being.

What do you think sweets can contribute to us? For me sweets contributes happiness to us because when we feel so sad like for girls when they come from heartbreak or breakup they eat sweets to forget the bitterness on what happen to her or what the boy done on her it changes our bad mood to good ones, and it also gives our body a high energy because in Strawberry Shortcake it contains sugar and sugar contain a carbohydrate and it is the most important nutrient supplying energy on our body. And do you know what strawberry contains? It contains vitamin C, K and folates that give our body a complete nutrients.

So according to the article that I read as she said” summer foods and dishes meant things to me, but one always stood out, Strawberry Shortcake. It doesn’t seem like summer without it” I love what he said because wherever you go like in expensive restaurants or even in the cheap one if you can see the menu dessert is always there, and you know why dessert is always served last? Because it is the most delicious among the other dishes, there are saying that saved the best for last.
